Alma L. Corbin Wolfe, 95, formerly of Rucki Street, in the Brookhaven Community, Morgantown, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, at Madison Nursing & Rehab.Alma was born in Sturgisson,WV on August 2, 1914, the daughter of the late John W. and Ada Cunningham Corbin.She was a member of the Brookhaven United Methodist Church for over 70 years.She was a former assistant housekeeper at West Virginia University, Towers Dormitory. She was a 25 year member of the United Methodist Women and was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program for 25 years, along with her husband John. She delivered meals to many citizens in the Morgantown area, where she made many friends.She is survived by one son and spouse, John W. and Betty Wolfe of New Bern, NC two daughters, Lila Lee and spouse Sonny Clutter of Camas, WA Linda Lou and spouse, Joe Tomba of Slidell, LA one brother, Robert and spouse Dee Corbin 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Wolfe, Jr. in 2003 daughter Sherry Mae Musgrave three sisters, Mary Corbin, Kathryn McCall and Virginia Conners eight brothers, June, Smith, Bill, James, Walter, Norman, Paul and Albert Corbin and one granddaughter, Amanda G. Clutter.Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Wednesday June 16 from 11-12 (noon). Funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 12:00p.m. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
