Obituary of Cynthia Bakos

Cynthia Bakos, 55, of Woodlands Bluff, Morgantown, formerly of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Cindy was born in Canonsburg, PA on January 25, 1955, the daughter of the late James Williamson and Faye Sergi Williamson. She graduated from the Ohio Valley Nursing School in Stubenville, OH where she became a registered nurse. During her 30 year career she worked at the Weirton Hospital, Monongalia General Hospital and West Virginia University where she retired. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Lester H. Bakos one son: Jeffery Michael Bakos and wife Nicole two daughters: Ashley Marie Vitale and husband Frank, Lauren Nicole Bakos three grandsons: Michael Bakos, Matthew Bakos and Max Vitale four sisters and their spouses: Patricia & Blair Crum, Susan & Terry Collins, Peggy & Doug Hall, Melissa & Dan Karas and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends and family will be received at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 309 Baldwin St., Morgantown on Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 9am until 11am. A memorial service will be held at 11am with Pastor Brian O. Bennett officiating. Cremation services were provided by Hastings Funeral Home.
