Pauline Olive Martin, 89, of Westover, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Marthaâs Manor Personal Care Home.Pauline was born in Marion County on March 4, 1921, the daughter of the late Albert and Drusanna Anna Shucks Belt.She was Methodist by faith.Pauline was a former housekeeper at the Pierpont House.She is survived by one son, Delmas Wayne Downey of Westover, her daughter-in-law, Leslie Florence McCauley Downey of Morgantown her brother, Junior Belt of Greenville, SC and her sister Louise Garriston of New Cumberstown, OH 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Martin on July 18, 1981, her first husband, James D. Downey sons, James Arthur Downey, William Edward Downey and Charles Goff Downey three brothers and two sisters. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Wednesday, May 26 from 9-11a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00a.m.with Rev. L. C. Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.Donations may be made in her memory to the Pauline O. Martin Memorial Fund, c/o Clear Mountain Bank, 1889 Earl Core Road, Morgantown, WV 26508.
