With every thing which seems to be developing throughout this particular subject material, many of your perspectives are generally fairly stimulating. On the other hand, I am sorry, but I do not give credence to your entire idea, all be it exciting none the less. It appears to us that your opinions are generally not completely justified and in reality you are generally your self not really entirely convinced of your assertion. In any event I did enjoy examining it.

Steve,I have fond and very vivid memories of 45 years ago when your house was the epicenter of our high school parties. We were basically no good and thoughtless but your Mom NEVER failed to peek in to see if we needed anything. I can never remember a time when she became upset or even "shushed" us. When simply visiting you, or coming up to pick you up, Mrs. Shuman treated us like we were favored and actually wanted. The loss of any mom is difficult, much less a special Mom.

To all the Shuman cousins, I send my love and heartfelt condolences. Aunt Bette was a beautiful, warm, thoughtful and brilliant woman - full of love and always showed great interest in those around her. She was multifaceted which shows in her children and loving grandchildren. I will remember her best at the reunion snapping green beans (that she was able to keep away from the deer) that she grew in her garden. She will truly be missed.Love to you all, Diane

Stephen and Roberta,I want you all to know that I am thinking about you at this sad time. "Aunt Betty" and "Uncle Bob" were such an important part of my life growing up in Morgantown. They were, without a doubt, two of my parents' best friends, especially Daddy Gus'. Love and Hugs,Kay Marie Comuntzis-Getsinger

Sherry and Phil, I will be sending you and your family healing thoughts during this difficult time. Reading her life work and organization involvement, she touched many lives and witness the world change in many ways. Sounds like she generated many of those changes herself. Peace to your family. The Shuman family is in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Aunt Bette touched many lives. I especially loved having spent time with her during my years at WVU. She always welcomed me into her home and I am grateful to have had her in my life. She will be missed by many. My apologies that I couldn't be there in person to express my condolences.
