Pat, Dusty, Debbie, Robin & Gordon – Mark & I thank you for sharing Sharman with us and allowing us to feel like part of the family. Even though we did not share the same blood, we were sisters in many other ways. Somewhat shy, always classy, very generous, unassuming & loved life which made many people grow to love her. We were proud to be her friends (& GA family) and we miss her terribly. Losing a child is heartbreaking, so suddenly is unthinkable. Please take care of yourselves & know that Sharm’s touched thousands of lives & made us better people. Dear Pat & Dusty,I was so so saddend by the news of my Best Friend Sharmans passing. I was really looking forward to seeing her when she came to VA. Although we only got to see each other a few times a year she will always be the sister I never had. We shared a lot, the fun of shopping, happy hour and the love of my children Mark and Sarah. They always called her Aunt Sharman and so she shall always be. I am so glad that I was able to share in her life for 25 years. It was good that we came to the funeral and said our good-byes, and to see you both. You feel like second parents to me and my family. Mr and Mrs DeWeese - I was shocked and saddened to hear of Sharman's death. I don't know whether you remember me, but I lived near you (Eastern Ave) and was your paperboy in the early 1960s. Sharman and I were classmates and spent a lot of time together during junior high. She was a sweetie! Mrs. DeWeese, you were the 4-H leader for my sister, Phyllis, who was a friend of your younger daughter, Robin. Anyway, I am lifting all of you up in prayer over your sudden loss.
