Henry âJuneâ Hart, Jr., 75, of Mountain View Road, Morgantown, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 2, 2010.June was born in Morgantown on July 26, 1934, a son of the late Henry and Sarah Dalton Hart. June is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Shelby âJackieâ Hart three daughters, Marlene Turner and husband Gary of Reedsville, Maxine Shaw and husband Larry, and Noreen Summers and husband David, all of Morgantown his grandchildren, Patrick Turner and fiancé Jennifer Fowler and her son, Kody, Daniel Shaw and wife Kellie, Devin Shaw and wife Michelle, Bethany Summers and fiancé Nathan McDonald and Kristen Summers and one great grandson, Alex Shaw, all of Morgantown a sister, Hazel Barr and husband Frank and a brother, Paul Joe Hart and wife Velma Jean sisters-in-law Phyllis, Eleanor and Lorna Hart, as well as several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, David Howard Summers, Jr. three brothers, Russell, Lloyd, Albert, Kenneth, Ray and Bert Hart and a sister, Edith Dalton.He was a concrete truck driver, having worked for McClain Sand Company and B.C.I., and retired from C.M.I. after 20 years of service. He was a member of the local 789 union. He was a member of the Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department which he helped establish, and was also a member of the Mt. View Pentecostal Church.He loved spending time with his loving daughters and their families. He also enjoyed going for car rides. He adored his grandchildren and was always very protective of them.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 7-9 PM Monday, April 5th. On Tuesday, April 6th , Mr. Hart will be moved to the Mt. View Pentecostal Church on Mt. View Rd., Morgantown where visitation will continue from 2 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM Wednesday with Reverend Elmer Nicholson and Reverend Jason Blosser officiating, and assisted by Francis Nicholson and Donna Dalton. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
