Obituary of Brent Savage

Brent James (BJ) Savage, 33, of Laurel Run Pisgah Road, Bruceton Mills passed away Friday, April 2, 2010, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Brent was Apostolic by faith.Brent was born in Morgantown on January 31, 1977. He is survived by his mother Vicki K. Ford Gillespie and her husband Dale Gillespie of Birch Hollow Road, his father Donald Ray Savage Jr. and his wife Susan B. Savage of Toms Run Road.Brent was the owner/operator of Savage Installations, LLC, a prominent Morgantown based business specializing in the installation of ceramic tile, hardwood and other quality floor treatments.Brent was an avid hunter, fisherman and motorcyclist. Most of all, he loved spending time with his two daughters.In addition to his parents, Brent is survived by his wife, Amanda Marie Bland Savage his two children, Cianna Faith Savage and Makennzee Grace Savage his brother, Donald Ray Savage III and his wife Diana Lynn Savage his nephew Tyler Ray Savage nieces Abigail Lynn Savage, Julianna Justus, Brianna Royce and Isabella Bland. He also had one god daughter, Jaidan Baxter, and many other relatives and friends. Brent was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Samuel E. and Delores June Ford and paternal grandparents, Donald R. Sr. and Mattie Jane Savage.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 3-5 & 7-9 PM Tuesday, April 6th and again on Wednesday, April 7th from 9:30 AM until the 10:30 AM funeral service with Rev. Wheeler Estepp officiating. Interment will follow in the Ford Family Cemetery at Cheat Lake.
