Dear Anita and Jonathan - I was in Jerusalem when I got the call from Ken and had just visited the old city. As you can imagine, learning of John's passing so far away and in such an historical, spiritual and troubled place can not be described. John called a few days earlier when I was in Jordan and I am now so glad that we had a short talk. And when I came back and listened to my voicemail, there was John's voice. The tears flowed. I was sad to hear that John passed away. Just last week, I thought of him while watching WVU make their way to the final four. All those tee shirt sales! Anita, Felecia, and Jonathan-I was so sorry to hear about John's passing. I have some very unique memories of the family growing up a friend of Felecia's. When we were small Felecia and I would sleep over at John and Anita's home and John always made it so much fun! Felecia had a club house that we would play in and John would have pizza sent up there all the time. He let us have lemonade stands in front of the Book Exchange which was really cool! I was even able to fly to Virginia with the Flemings to pick Felecia up from Virginia for a visit. There are so many warm memories of John and the family.
