I'll never forget the day I sat in that cold construction trailer at PA Turnpike 54C Jobsite while the Turnpike people told me how bad that job was and how much trouble my contractor was in. Mike Flack and Dave Sheridan said that I had better look up a guy named Ralph Mashuda. Something made me take their advice and I did meet Ralph Mashuda. They were right. If it was tough to do - Ralph and his people could do it. I will always treasure my experiences with Ralph and Mashuda Corp. We'll all miss you Ralph. God be with you.

Our Dearest Niece Delores,Today at the funeral home, I felt like I saw a bright light over Ralph's head when I knelt to pray. It made me feel so good because I knew in my heart that God was wanting you to know Ralph was at peace. Ralph was one of the biggest influences in my life. I left the state a few years ago but a week doesn't go by that I don't about him. I will continue to think of him. I met him years ago when I was inspecting the FBI interchange. He treated me with unusual respect and we soon became friends. I learned so much from him. He changed how I did my job and made me a better person. I worked with him on a number of other projects but what I remember the most is his child-like glee when he showed me his old Indian.
