Obituary of Cathy DeWitt

Jesus came unexpectedly on Nov. 6th, 2009 to the home of Cathy Jo Mayle DeWitt, 50 of the Kingwood Pike and took her home to be with him.Cathy was born August 12, 1959 in Morgantown, WV She was the daughter of the late Carl Mayle, Sr. and Mabel Woody Mayle. She was raised by her grandparents the late John and Pearl Mayle of the Kingwood Pike. She was a life member and faithful worker of the Glorybound Tabernacle on the Kingwood Pike. She was employed as a custodian at Trinity Christian School where she came to love the staff and students.She is survived by her loving husband, of 26 years, David DeWitt and her pride and joy, her son Daniel DeWitt and his wife Amy of Westover, her step-daughters, Kim, Nancy, April and Gwen, twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also her two brothers, Carl Mayle, Jr. and wife Michelle of Morgantown, and Terry Mayle and wife Maggie of Jackson Ohio and sister, Wilma Stotler and husband Leroy of Kingwood Pike, many special nieces and nephews. Also surviving was her special friend and Pastor Norma Stimmell and her church family. Family and friends will be received at the Glorybound Tabernacle, Kingwood Pike, on Sunday, November 8, 2009, from 3-8 p.m. and on Monday, November 9 from 11-1p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Norma Stimmell officiating.
