Patricia Ann Long, 67, of, Morgantown, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 at her residence.Patricia was born in Morgantown/Sabraton, on January 6, 1947, the daughter of the late Lacey and Theresa McClead Ruckle. She enjoyed traveling to Florida and Texas in their motor home, bowling, flower gardening, cooking and sitting on her front porch swing with her husband in the evenings. She loved being surrounded by her family and spending time with them. She was a nursing assistant at Mon General Hospital until her retirement. She is survived by her husband, Paul Wilson Long, Sr., her children, Sharon Nestor and her husband Randy of Morgantown, Paul Jr. Long and his wife, Renee of New Geneva, PA, Donna Dalton and her husband, Ronnie, Diane McDonald and her companion Jim Cooper and Tammy Baker and her husband Rob of Morgantown, her grandchildren, Crystal DeVault and her partner Angie Nagy, MaryAnn Sullivan and K. Joel Sullivan of Timberlake, NC, Robert DeVault II and Nicole of Pittsburgh, William Fieldhouse and Michele of Morgantown, Dia Fieldhouse of Morgantown, Michael Savasta and Traci of Morgantown, Kaylee McDonald and companion Joe Christian of Morgantown, Nicole Cooper and CJ Cooper of Fairmont, Jeremiah Cobb of New Geneva, PA, Scott Nestor and Melissa of Morgantown, Eric Nestor of Morgantown, Callie Jo Conaway of Morgantown, Paul Long III and Chantal of Pt. Marion, PA, Meghan Long of Morgantown and Ryan Baker of Morgantown, her great-grandchildren, Dakota, Austin, Kaitlyn Taylor and Noah Sullivan, Branden and Michael Savasta, Zachary, Blake, and Hailey Long, Hunter and Adreana Graham, Ashley Fieldhouse, Malia Christian, Matthew, Hunter and Spencer Nestor, her sister Betty Bonnette and husband, Robert, her sister, Bonnie Cain, her brother-in-law, James Long and wife Sandy and her sister-in-law, Shirley Palmer. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday, October 21, and from 11am â" 12noon on Thursday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 12noon on Thursday, with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Cremation services will follow and a private inurnment will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
