I worked with Mike during the Regan administration as an Artist-in Residence, and ran a performing arts program for the inmates at FCI Morgantown. Mike was a wonderful supervisor, and was very supportive of my program. Mike always made certain that you knew what was expected, and made certain that he gave you the support that was needed to be successful at whatever task that was at hand. Mike was the best supervisor that I ever worked with. Mike knew how to motivate people, and to organize his staff so that the inmates would be able to succeed. Mike was so very dedicated to his job and the success of his staff and the inmates as well. MIke taught me so many things that I later applied in life that led to success in other endeavors. I am very saddened to know that he is no longer with us. I will miss you Mike, and I will think of you often. You were exemplary at all that you did, and you were truly a great leader. My condolences to his family.
