I'm writing to express my condolences. I grew up in Morgantown with Mr Deprospero's son, Mark. Although we have not seen each other in quite some time, I wanted Mark (and Johnny too) to know that my thoughts and prayers are with them and the entire family. I am saddened to read about the passing on your husband/father. Mr. DeProspero drove the busses that I rode for many years. He was always personable and caring, much like a father figure. Mr. DeProspero was quite a guy. In all the years that I rode his bus, I don't think I ever heard him utter an unkind word. The same held true when I would see him outside in front of his house or in the First Ward neighborhood. He touched the lives of many. He will be missed.
