Wilfred âBillâ Graham, 93, of Drummond Street, Morgantown passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at his home.He was born September 23, 1915 in Morgantown, WV a son of the late Oliver Bell and Martha Coral Gibson Graham.He was a member of the Spruce Street United Methodist Church for 63 years.Bill graduated from Bruceton High School. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army serving during World War II in the 806 Air Engineer Squad. He was a former owner of the Old Mill Club Inn in Sabraton and the Hudson Dealership. Bill was the owner of Southside Motors from 1948 to 1970. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 548, Mt. Morris American Legion #992 and a member of the Elks Lodge #2602 in Lehigh Acres, FL.He is survived by his companion, Betty Lynch, his brother Hurley H. and his wife, Delores Graham of Woodsfield, OH his grandchildren, Lt. Col. Sherry Graham of the U. S. Army stationed in Japan and Susan Renee and her husband John Brimacomb of Ann Arbor, MI, two great-grandchildren, Serena Marie Brimacomb and Landon Brimacomb, special nephews, Donald Rex and Ruth Ann Riley of Morgantown and Chester Sonny Burnsworth and his wife Barbara of Morgantown, daughter-in-law, Jane E. Graham of MD, and a special friend, Nancy Robinson of Morgantown and his special dogs Bo and Denny Boy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia B. Graham on December 9, 2002, two sons, Worthy Graham and Wayne Graham, a brother, Gibson âBootsâ Graham, sisters, Glenda Carpenter, Freda Burnsworth, and Isabel Riley. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., from 5-9pm on Saturday, September, 5, and from noon-2pm on Sunday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 2pm with Rev. Dr. John E. Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Pisgah. Military honors will be provided by the V. F. W. Post 548 and WVANG Military Funeral Honors, Camp Dawson, Kingwood, WV at the cemetery.
