To Larry's Family, I grew up with ' the boy' Larry being at our house often as he was best friends with my Uncle Gary Kennedy. I can tell you that every memory I have of him is of laughter and kindness. He was one of the sweetest boys that ever came out of Kirby. The stories my family, especially my Uncle Gary could tell about him could fill a book. He was comfortable and friendly with everyone of any age or kilt. We all loved him. I have not seen him for many, many years but I am sure that the sweetness and humor only seasoned into an even sweeter man and husband and friend and Uncle. My whole family is grieving with you, not just for the man that I know all of you loved but also for the boy who will live forever in our hearts and memories. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Mary, Shar, Edna, Gary and all of your families:I'm so terribly sorry that you are all going through this grief and sadness. It was so sudden that you can't really take time to process that it actually occurred.I haven't seen Larry is quite sometime but I remember him as laughing and teasing the heck out of me and Shar when we were trying to be cool. I had the priviledge of working with Larry for the 25 years I was Assoc VP at the Health Sciences Center. He was one of the "good guys". I enjoyed his professional attitude and his always present smile. I will miss him.I am away from Morgantown this week so must express my condolences remotely. Please accept my apology for this
