Obituary of Mary Reynolds

Mary Louise Reynolds, 87, of Cheat Neck, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Monongalia General Hospital.Mary was born in Uniontown, PA on October 3, 1921, the daughter of the late Deane and Goldie Bailey Adams.She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.She is survived by her daughters and spouses, Doris J. Ayersman and Phillip of Morgantown, Bonita R. McElroy and Bud of Morgantown and Berdetta Sperry and Jim of Olmsted Falls, OH one son and spouse, Dennis K. Reynolds and Zena of Morgantown her brother Clinton Adams of Morgantown grandchildren, Michele McElroy, Tammy Renzelli, Vicki Dalton, Kay Adams, Karla Strosnider, Phillip Ayersman, Jr., Derek Reynolds, Jeremy Reynolds and Travis Reynolds all of Morgantown, James Sperry II, Joni Sperry and Joy Sperry of Ohio and fourteen great-grandchildren one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver M. Reynolds, her brothers, Edgar, Deane, and Ted Adams and her sister, Alene Bowers. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, on Tuesday, August 25 from 2-8p.m. and on Wednesday, August 26 from 9-11a.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Julia D. Morrison officiating. Entombment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maryâs memory to the Cheat Lake United Methodist Church, 750 Fairchance Road, Morgantown, WV 26508.
