Dominica âMinnieâ M. Tait, 95, of Morgantown, passed away Monday morning, August 10, 2009 at Sundale Nursing Home.Minnie was born in McAlester, OK on November 20, 1913, a daughter of the late Anthony Petitte and the late Mary (Giacoletti) Petitte.She was a member of St. Johnâs University Parish in Morgantown.Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lou Kopnski and her husband Thomas of Westover two granddaughters, Marisa M. Kopnski of Morgantown and Monica L. Blue and husband John of Greensburg, PA four great-grandchildren, Kenneth S. Clarke, Christa M. Janes, Brooke N. Payton and husband Danton, and James âJ.J.â Blue and four great-great-grandchildren, Madison and Karson Janes, and Kenleigh and Asher Payton.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jasper, John and Melio Petitte and three sisters, Lucy Smith, Jessie Blangero and Teresa Gabor, making her the last surviving member of her immediate family.The family will receive friends at St. Johnâs University Parish on Wednesday morning, August 12, 2009 from 10 AM until 12 Noon. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon Wednesday in the church with Father William K. Matheny, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
