Edna Ruth Charline Ayersman Wolfe, 91, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Golden Living Center of Morgantown. She was born April 17, 1918, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late John and Gertie Ayersman. She is survived by five daughters, Wanda Jean Louise Duley and life partner Patty Yost of Columbus, OH, Mrs. Ann Coombs and her husband Donald of Morgantown, Mrs. Helene Marguerite Uphold and her husband James of Kingwood, Mrs. Rickie Belle Hilt and her husband Larry of Poland, ME, and Betty Julia Miles of Murphy, NC, one son, Randolph Lee Wolfe of Morgantown, 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Franklin Wolfe, Sr. on December 8, 1981 one brother John Elwood Ayersman two sisters, Constance Louise Thorton and Juanita Pet Ayersman and two sons, Jackie Ayersman Wolfe and Lawrence Franklin Wolfe, Jr. Family will receive friends at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., from noon - 4pm on Saturday, and from noon on Sunday, July 5, until the time of the funeral service at 1:30pm in the funeral home with Rev. Stanley Merrifield officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in Ednaâs memory to: Hospice Care Corporation, 3363 University Ave., Morgantown, WV 26505.
