Obituary of Louis Keener

Louis âWayneâ Keener, 59, of Rock Forge, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown, WV.Wayne was born in Clarksburg, WV on March 20, 1950, a son of the late Lawrence A. and Beatrice H. Hood Keener.He attended Morgantown High School. Wayne was a chef at several local restaurants as well as in Galveston, TX, where he was the Executive Chef at the Hotel Galvez in the 1980âs.He is survived by his brother, Alston R. âBudâ Keener of Rock Forge. Additionally, he is survived by one uncle, Reon Hood of Clarksburg two aunts, Pauline Hood of Clarksburg, and Neva Keener of Shinnston, as well as a multitude of cousins.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 3-5 and 7-9 PM Thursday, June 18th and again on Friday, June 19th from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in the Bridgeport Cemetery, Bridgeport, WV.
