Obituary of Christopher Hollis

Christopher Reuben Hollis, 31, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday February 24th 2013. Christopher was born in Morgantown on March 11, 1981, the son of Robert Daniel Hollis and Pamela Mercedes (White) Hollis. Chris loved children, particularly his niece and nephew whom he was a proud uncle too. He also loved animals, especially his dogs. He enjoyed four wheeling and motorcycling. He loved driving fast and listening to loud music. He was a loving son, little brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister and best friend, Robin Danyelle Johnson of Morgantown, WV; one niece, Miranda Mercedes Johnson and one nephew, Codey Scott Blaney, both of Morgantown, WV; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Mae White of Oak Hill, WV; and his "big brother" Scott Blaney; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reuben and Jewel Hollis; his maternal grandfather; and his brother-in-law Lenny Johnson. A private family visitation be held at the family's request after which Hastings Funeral Home & Omega Crematory will provide cremation services as to the family's wishes.
