I didn't know Charlie to well, however I did enjoy listening to him when doing 'burgers' on Thursdays there at the VFW in Garden City, CO. I consider Charlie to be a friend, one who was always willing to listen and one who liked to talk about his experiences in the past. He was a true gentleman. We were pleased to have him a member of our Marine Corps League. Like a brother, he is missed by all who knew him...He was an AMERICAN HERO....

It was a privilege and a joy to take care of your father through the years. I always enjoyed hearing his Marine stories when he came to the office. He had a contagious smile that we all so enjoyed seeing. My sincerest sympathies go out to you Bubby and Marie. Warmly, Dr. Michelle Paczosa

Having known Charlie for several years as a fellow Marine and fellow Marine Corps League, Union Colony Marines detachment member, I really was saddened by his passing. Dear family and friends of Charlie,
All of us who knew Charlie were fortunate to have him in our lives. He was a tremendous man who cared about everyone. I used to try and set with Charlie at our meetings so ,I could hear about his life experiences. He was a fascinating person and his smile would light up the room.
He will always be with those that knew him....
God Bless us all,
Cliff Pabst USMC

Bubby and Marie, your father was akind and gentle man. Always a friend to everyone. I knew him from the Eagle's Bingo. He always talked about his kids and grandkids. And oh yes, he always talked about his precious angel, Lucia. He is now with Lucia, they are dancing on Heaven's floor. He will be missed by so many. Take care of each other, love you all.
