Daniel James Crawford, 60, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown, WV. Daniel was born in Apollo, PA on January 25, 1953, the son of the late Arthur Glenn Crawford, Jr. and Mary Arlowyn (Gosnell) Crawford. Daniel was a manager at the Auto Zone in Sabraton and had previously worked at various retail establishments in the area. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars and loved going to the Carlisle, PA car shows with his grandsons. Daniel is survived by his son, Josh Crawford and his fiancée Nicole Tyman of Morgantown; three grandsons, Phillip Pratt, Zachary Tyman, and Justin Crawford; nephew, Douglas Crawford of Pennsylvania, and several cousins and extended family. He is also survived by his former wife and friend, Sherry Cox and her husband John of Morgantown. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey D. Crawford. Arrangements, which are incomplete, are under the direction of Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
