Kathryn was a graduate of Morgantown (WV) High School, Class of 1943. In 1944 she married the love of her life, Robert H. Moore, and they had a wonderful life together until his death in 1986. Having established a reputation as a fine musician, she was sought after as the piano accompanist for many soloists and vocal groups.
Kathryn accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at the age of 12 years and was a devout Christian throughout her life. She was an active member of the local and association American Baptist Women groups and the Triangle Sunday School. Most of Kathryn's friends came from her church families and most of her activities revolved around the church.

She is survived by her daughters: Patricia Shafer of St. Albans, WV, Elizabeth Street (Warren) of Ellensburg, WA, and Debra Borrelli (Glenn) of Morgantown, WV.
