Obituary of Paul Edward Robinson

Rev. Paul Edward Robinson, 90, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Sundale Nursing Home.
He was born in Knob Fork on May 10, 1924, the son of the late Walter James Robinson and Anna Jane (Keenan) Robinson.
Paul served in the U. S. Navy during WWII as a mechanic. In 1945 he met and married the love of his life, Charlotte Lear. Upon returning from the service he continued working as a mechanic until he went into the ministry. He served as a Minister for the remainder of his life.
Paul truly lived his ministry, helping others and giving to the needy. He was constantly on the lookout for food for various food pantries. He even stockpiled his own cabinet to open up to anyone in need. Paul also spent his time driving his friends and others to doctor’s appointments and on errands. He was a true servant who practiced what he preached.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Paul) Sellers of Fairmont; grandchildren: Larry (Sara) DeLawder, of Branson, MO, David Kibbe of Winchester, VA, David Paul (Marchelle) Sellers of Los Angeles, CA, Amy (Richard) Reisman of Leesburg, FL; great-grandchildren: Krystle (Marshal), Andrew, Brandon, Seth, Blake, Chase, Hannah, Graham, Faith, Briley, and Hudson; great-great-granddaughter Lily DeMeritt; and 27 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 ½ years, Charlotte (Lear) Robinson; siblings, Florence, Edna, Wilda, Thelma, Ruby, Lloyd, Wilbur, Carl, and Alberta.
Cremation services were provided by Hastings Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 24th at Beverly Hills Memorial Garden’s Chapel of Tranquility at 2:00 PM with Rev. David R. Tomer officiating.
