Sandra “Sasha” Daisy (Utt) Kelley, 68, Morgantown, walked into heaven on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born February 17, 1946 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Desmoine “Dee” John Utt and Dana Cleidith Gamble.
She was a member of the Brookhaven United Methodist Church and retired as a bookkeeper from Culp Paving Company. She was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a fan of NASCAR, dirt track racing, and the Mountaineers.
She is survived by her husband Ronald V. Kelley; daughters, Penny (Cutlip) Hines and her husband Michael and Robyn (Cutlip) Smith and her husband Michael “Smitty”; grandchildren, Thressie R. Hines, Dyllan Hines, and Jenna M. Smith; great grandchild, Caleb “K-Bob Mister” James Hines; step daughters, Gina (Kelley) Eddy and her husband Charles “Chip” and Ronda (Kelley) Barberich and her husband Eddy “E.J” John; step grandchildren, Charles “Robby” Eddy III, Alicia Eddy, Edward John “Johny” Barberich II, and Roni R. Barberich; sister, Linda K. (Utt) Conrad and her husband Ralph; brothers, Roy G. Utt and his wife Paulette, Raymond “Butch” Utt and his wife Jeanie, and Dee Jay Utt and his wife Barbara. She is also survived by many, many nieces and nephews. In addition, she is survived by many special friends, including Vivian Pugh, Martha (McCartney) Grass and Tammy Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Gary Utt; and our angel, her sister, Bobbi Jo.
Friends and family will be received at the Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Thursday, June 12th from 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Visiting will continue on Friday, June 13th from 12 Noon until the time of the service at 2 PM with Rev. Earnest Watkins and Pastor Dee Jay Utt officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
