Dear Family,
Please accept our sympathy at the passing of Maia.
The pain we suffer at a time like this seems to be never ending, especially when we lose someone so very young. However, because we have faith in the promises of our God that we can find comfort for our heart.
We have always been comforted by God’s Promise recorded in the Bible book of Isaiah chapter 25 verse 8 – because God promises there to do away with death and allow the little ones such as Maia to grow and experience the love of God and see His other promises fulfilled..
It is our wish that you find peace and comfort in the promise of God found in His Word at John 5:28, 29 where His Son, Jesus, says that there will be a resurrection on earth of our loved ones.
God's strength be with you.

Dear Marie, Joe, Jakob and Lukas,
I cry every time I remember that your sweet Maia has died. I can only imagine the emotions you are feeling. Maia was the most loving little girl ever. She could give me “the cold shoulder” but was always ready for a hug and snuggle. Her smiles and laughs have always warmed my heart. She was so precious. The way Jakob and Lukas would include her in their play was a visible testament of their love for her. Maia’s grandparent, especially Grandmother Robin and Grandmother Rigmor surely have been blessed by the time they spent with Maia. There is nothing like the love of a grandparent for a grandchild and a grandchild for her grandparent - A blessing for adult and child. You have a wonderful family who will support you in this time of loss. May everyone’s love for Maia give you strength. I don't know how I can help you but I will come by and get my things out of your ways as soon as you feel like it.
