Louise M. Permar, 79, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Monongalia General Hospital.
She was born on November 6, 1935, the daughter of the late Paul Frum and Lucille (Craig) Moore.
She attended Christian Missionary & Alliance Church.
Louise had several careers as a counselor at the WV Business College and secretary at WVU. She also worked at Seneca Glass Factory and retired as a financial counselor for Life Associates, Inc. After her retirement she worked from her home as a florist, wedding consultant and a volunteer in the Monongalia General Hospital Gift Shop.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Straight, husband Glen and Carol’s father, Robert Permar; 2 grandchildren Megan Martinez, husband Roy, Aaron Straight, wife Hannah; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Frum, wife Donna.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Doris and husband Raymond Dorinzi.
A memorial service will be held at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Tuesday, March 3rd, from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM with Pastor Treg Spicer, Jerry Fisher and Pastor Bennie Moran officiating. Inurnment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
Louise specifically asked that no flowers be purchased for her Memorial Celebration but donations made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 122 South High Street, Morgantown, WV 26505.
