To John and Liz, Robert, and Charles Weidebush. My heart literally hurts for all of you and my deepest condolences are given at this time. Charles was always a friend to me and always, always brought a smile to my face. I loved going to watch the band play at the house and I thank you guys for letting me enjoy your family when you really didn't have to do that. Charles will be missed by me because he always had time to answer my calls. And he didn't have to do that for me either! He will forever be a friend. I pray for peace for Charles and for all of you at this difficult time.
Deepest Regards,
West Turner

We went to school with Charles and attended many tailgates and parties where Charles and his band performed. My memories of Charles in high school and present day will always be of his smile and his humble self even with all the talent God had given him. I personally will never forget your kindness to me when we both were in college. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and your beautiful daughter Ameila. My dear family and loved ones of Charles, I receive this news with such sadness in my heart. Its been three years since I have seen all of you but my experiences there in Morgantown have not been forgotten. I have many wonderful memories of Charles and Robert as children and all of my other cousins, Dianna, Denise, Charles, and Carol Jean, I keep you all close to me. My mother was Charles' biggest fan and loved going to his rock shows. I had a really good time taking her to one, thank you Charles.

Charles was so talented. So many times I asked him for help in writing at work, and he would come up with the most creative, fun ideas out of nowhere. He would always jump at the chance to help just about anyone. He was also a fabulous vocal performer. More, he was a source of encouragement. Thank you, Charles.
Beyond his talent, he was genuine. Charles had a good heart, and he was such a bright and fun person. It was such a pleasure to work with him and I'm glad I had that opportunity. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for the whole family.

As I worked my way through college as a starter at Lakeview, I was often greeted by a smiling Charles as he and Charles Wiedebusch would square up their bets after a round in the setting summer sun. As cordial and friendly as anyone at the club, he will be missed not just by family, but by people like me whom he treated with class.

Charles I will miss the opportunity to reminisce at reunions about our childhoods and tell stories about our adventures AND misadventures. I remember you and Robert had this awesome tree fort. It blew away my few planks and even Ly and Giffen's decent tree house in their awesome backyard. But you always made us feel like at home, always the gentleman. My condolences to your extended family, Robert my heart feels for you, and all the many, many friends. Charles you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
