Obituary of Martina Lorene Wolfe

Martina “Rene” Wolfe, 87, of Morgantown, left this earth on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born May 24, 1928 in Morgantown, daughter to the late Mort and Ethel Bolyard St. Clair. She was a 1945 graduate of Morgantown High School. Her employment was with local businesses, and later employed with the court systems in Monongalia County. She was a member of Suncrest United Methodist Church since 1947, a member of the Minnie Kinnan Circle, and secretary-treasurer of the E. Grant Nine Sunday School Class. She was a member of the C & P Telephone Auxiliary, a former member of the Mountain Harmony Chapter of Sweet Adelines for many years. Rene was also a substitute driver for Meals on Wheels. She was an avid bowler for many years locally and loved sports. She was a great fan of the WVU Football and Basketball teams. Her greatest love was for her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rene was loved by many and is survived by, two sons Roger Louis Wolfe and spouse Luisa of Morgantown. & Randy Lee Wolfe and spouse, Tami of Richmond, VA; grandchildren all of Morgantown, Robby and spouse Kristie, Krista Mitchell and husband Jeff; six great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Kassidy and Kaylee, , Donaven, Ariana, and Jaylin. One sister and dearest friend, Betty Vorbach and spouse, Joe of Morgantown, brother-in-law, Frank Wolfe and spouse Norma of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews. Other special family members include Linda, Nestor, Rica, and Renia Guadia, also of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth B. “K.B.” Wolfe in 1999, and her loving grandson, Matthew Wolfe. The family would like to send a special thanks to caregivers Marie Bryan, and Mary Luzander, as well as Chantel and Darla from Morgantown Hospice. Cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home and private inurnment will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will be received at the Suncrest United Methodist Church, 479 Van Voorhis Rd., Morgantown on Tuesday, August 11th from 6 PM until the time of the memorial service at 7 PM with Rev. Junius Lewis officiating.
