Phyllis Kay Tonkin, age 70, of Kingwood, WV went to heaven on August 19, 2015.
She was a lovely soul with a beautiful smile who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren most of all. She also loved spending time in her garden, cleaning her home and taking long car rides. She was generous to all that knew her. Devoting time to animals both wild and tame that needed love and affection.
She left behind her family that loved her dearly, her daughter and son-in-law Angela and Christopher Everett of Morgantown, and her daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Jerry Daft of Reedsville, and son William Tonkin Jr. of Morgantown. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Jalan, Juwan, Tiffany, Jerry, Jerrell, Alexis, Montana, Peyton, Iziah, Kaydence and Paisleigh. She will be missed by her many brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her lovely mother Virginia DeWitt of Morgantown. Per the deceased request she will be cremated. A celebration of her life will be held privately by her family and friends. Condolences will be accepted by Hastings funeral home in Morgantown.
