Thursday, October 29, 2015Our family was so saddened to hear of Fr. Bauers passing. He was so warm & welcoming when we first arrived in Morgantown. Our boys loved him, they always liked alter serving for him because he was so patient & kind with all the kids. His sense of humor was infectious & he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a wonderful understanding priest & he will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. Our prayers are with the family at this difficult time. The Bottini family

Thursday, October 29, 2015He came into my life and that of many friends at the most crucial time of our youth. He gave his wisdom and friendship to young students in need. CEB II was a strong role model for young men, a wise counselor as we struggled to find our way, and a velvet hammer when we needed firm re-direction. I needed firm re-direction. And did this when he was so young, and barely out of seminary, himself. A remarkable priest. Since God takes his special servants quickly to heaven, the only thing remaining here is to send sympathy and comfort to friends and family on Earth. Best wishes to all who have lost a good friend, Mike Corra Parkersburg.
