Nicki added so much to people lives especially geriatric ones. We got our Certificate in Gerontology at WVU together. She loved her job as a MSW, every day was a new day for her patients and her.
My husband Raymond and I spent many great times together with MAX before he died.
Nicki devoted herself to WVU afterward, and went on to become a wonderful, giving, fun, gerontologist. We went to annual conferences all over the USA of the Gerontological Society of America. We were fortunate because we met each others parents plus Terry.
I will miss her supportive nature to me! Go to do! I left Morgantown for San Juan,Puerto Rico and now live back in Florida, always knowing her phone number by heart!
Love and blessings to all. I was always updated on you two, Terry and Jay when we talked.
You made her very happy and peaceful. God Bless All, Kristina Pasqualone

Dear Terry and Jay,
I worked with your mother both at Chestnut Ridge as well as Sharpe Hospital. Nicki had an unique way of working with the most chronic and difficult of patients. She gladly just was "with" them, and allowed them to be.
She was such fun to car pool with. She spoke of you both often, and was so proud and concerned with your lives. She had the funniest things to say. My favorite, which she would chant on May 1, and I say to this day is "Hooray Hooray the first of May outdoor screwing starts today" . What a hoot!
What a joy. I am so sorry for your loss.

May the family find comfort in loving memories, and in knowing that God is "close to those that are broken at heart; and he saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces" (Isaiah 25:8). With deepest sympathy. To the family of Nicki,
My husband, Bill, and I want to express our deepest sympathy to you
in the loss of Nicki. She was in the Fellowship Class at the First
Baptist Church, and we enjoyed her company very much. She was a
very positive person who lived her faith through her generosity and
many kindnesses. We will miss her.
