Virginia Fusco, 91, of Westover, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the home she shared with her daughter and caregiver, Molly Vannoy. She was born in Punxsutawney, PA on November 15, 1924, the daughter of the late A. Nile Whitesell and the late Myrtle (Stewart) Whitesell. Virginia was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. She was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School and Du Bois Business College. She was a loving homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children: Andrew and Deborah Fusco, Patricia and Russell Ireland, Joseph Fusco, Michael Wesson, Randy and Sue Fusco, Molly Vannoy, and Michael and Mary Lou Fusco; grandchildren: Matthew and Carriedelle Fusco, Geoffrey and Marcie Fusco, David and Nicole Fusco, Sarah and Joedy Gutta, Jennifer Ireland, Liz Fusco, Tony Fusco, Dominique Fusco, JoeMichael Fusco, Vincent Fusco, Hayden Kleinschmidt, Kristin and Shane Laws, and Jared Kleinschmidt; great-grandchildren: Porter, Dawson, and Garritt Fusco, Levi and Brady Fusco, Madeline, Julianna, and Zackery Gutta, Gavin and Carter Murray, and Eli Laws; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert G. "Al" Fusco; son-in-law Clarence "Jack" Vannoy; grandson Joey Fusco; sister and brother in law, Flora and Woodrow Coleman, and an infant brother. Friends and family will be received at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown, on Tuesday, December 15th from 4 to 8 p.m. A Scriptural Wake service will be held at the church at 7:30 p.m. to conclude the evening visitation. Visitation will continue Wednesday, December 16 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Father Carlos Melocoton, Jr. as celebrant.
