My voice joins with many others across the state expressing sympathy to the family of Mickey Furfari. I met him late in his tenure at the Dominion Post and he was my first boss there. Like many others, I learned a lot from him and continued to enjoy conversations with him whenever our paths crossed. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.

I just hear of Micky's death and wanted to say a thank you for having met him. He and my father-in-law are walking in Heaven! Whenever I saw him I just mentioned who I was and we would have a great conversation. I loved reading his column in Heritage that were always available for the residents. He certainly was an icon in Morgantown and his opinion was one I respected. Always so warm and caring.... he will be missed. Hugs and Prayers for his children.

There are so many things I loved about Mickey.
Passion and intensity are at the top the list.
He had a very strong belief in the way things ought to be and didn't hesitate to share those beliefs with others. I admired everything about him.
He was always very appreciative of any little thing anyone would do for him.
I miss him.
Praying for comfort and peace for you all.
