I was so saddened to hear of Mike's passing.Mike dated my sister, Janice (Boore) Gulden back in the mid 70"s. I still have a beautiful silver bracelet that he made me for my 11th birthday (way back in 1976), along with a few pendants and rings that he also made. I always loved Mike's music and always would ask him to play me something on his banjo whenever I saw him. I have been exchanging Christmas cards with Mike for many years now and knew something must be wrong when I did not hear from him this year. I will always remember him fondly. He will be missed.
I am not sure this is the Mike Haupt I knew for many years but the date is too much of a coincidence. RIP Mike. Many cavers join me in celebrating your life.
