Offering my deepest condolences to the family. While words fail to capture the pain of losing someone you love, may the God of all comfort and the love of family and friends help to sustain you at this most difficult time. May your hearts receive comfort from the promise God gives at Revelation 21:3,4…death and pain will be no more.

My condolences go out to the entire Flynn family. I worked for and with Dave for many years. He was kind, gentle, and a friend to all. He loved people and, most importantly, he loved Jesus and his family; who he adored. He spoke of his wife and kids with love and pride. He was a great boss and mentor and I am a better man to have known him as a friend.

I had the privilege of working with Dave throughout his entire career at WVU Medicine. He was the most energetic, driven, and caring colleague and friend. He lead a very successful department that provided great patient and employee services as well as significant contribution to the organization as a whole. He was part of my Pharmacy family and will be sorely missed by myself and so many people at WVU Medicine, the Morgantown community and by the family that he spoke about with such enormous pride. Dave was a significant source of spiritual support to me and my family over the last couple of years. Thank you so much Dave. I will truly miss you.

Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers. To lose someone so young and an active member in his church family, loss is felt in so many places. To those who believe, God has prepared a place for him and he now dwells with our Lord, Jesus Christ, where there is no more tears, sorrow, pain or suffering. To Joyce Marker and their family we send our love and thoughts.

Thank you to Dave's family for sharing him with his colleagues at MedCenter and WVU. Dave hired me after I completed an internship with him during pharmacy school and allowed me to grow as a pharmacist while in law school.
Dave was a genius in his field, valued individuals, and was a great mentor. Dave offered great advice both professionally and personally. He was so excited every time he greeted someone and really cared about his people. Recently, Dave offered me great faith advice for my pending marriage to my fiancé and I will never forget it or him.
Thanks for all you did Dave, I know you are in heaven praising God with the angels.

David is a man of faith, honor and integrity. I know that he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I had the honor of introducing him to Jesus Christ many years ago. Like everything David did, he began a journey to learn as much as possible about Jesus. I remember his children and wife and I know how much he loved them. You were his world as he told me that many times. Old Friend, I will miss you but I will see you again!!!

I had the honor of interviewing for a position with Dave a few months back. Though I was not selected, I did end up working with him through Allied Health Solutions. I did not know him well, but knew him well enough to know that he was a man of honor and integrity. My thoughts and prayers remain with all who knew and loved him. God Bless you all and may Dave rest in peace.

Dave hired me right out of pharmacy school for my first job. He was a great guy in a management field surrounded by people who were nowhere near his level in terms of decency and respect. He moved on from that area and had a very successful career in work and as a family man. I hadn't seen him in years but I always had good memories of working with him. God bless him. RIP Dave

Dear Chris (and Flynn family),
Please accept my sincere condolences. I've never had the opportunity to meet David, however through knowing Chris, I can say that David must have been a great man. Please know Chris that you have someone that you can talk to. My father, my closest friend, passed away unexpectedly at my cousins wedding at nearly the same age as your father. I hope you have the opportunity to be with your family during this difficult time. Help, love, and support each other and cherish every moment of it.
Sincerely,
Nik Kovinich
