Kathleen A. Carroll of Charleston died June 12, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Kathy held positions as a Human Resources Director for various industries in Charleston, West Virginia, Houston, Texas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was instrumental in finding job opportunities for thousands of individuals. Kathy dedicated 38 years of her life and passion to the field of Human Resources. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Charleston, Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, WVU Panhellenic Council, SHRM and IPMA. Kathy was a graduate of West Virginia University.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Carroll; daughter, Lauren Peet Blowers ; son in law, Matthew Blowers; grandson, Cameron P. Blowers of Morgantown, WV.

A service of Death and Resurrection celebrating the life of Kathleen A. Carroll will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, Kathy requested that donations be made to: American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Cleveland, Ohio, 11432 Mayfield Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44106. The Hope Lodge was instrumental in Kathy's care and comfort in her time of need.
