Barb, you were an absolute angel to both my Mom and myself. You were there when no one else (including other nurses) would dare come by to help (when we needed it the most). You and Amie have beautiful hearts of gold and though I did not know Luke personally am sure he did as well.

Paul and Barb we are so sorry to hear of Luke’s passing. We cannot even imagine your pain. We could not make the viewing due to our vacation but wanted you to know how so very sorry we are. We are praying for all of you! We were so happy that we were able to see Luke at the Blackbears game last year and him and Scott had a chance to talk. My deepest sympathy for your family at this time. I so enjoyed watching Luke play baseball over the years. He was always polite and warm to me. I last saw him several years ago at Walmart. He approached me and talked with me for a few minutes. He was in good spirits and joking about the crazy things he and my sons, Wes and Sean, used to do when they were kids. Luke was a sweet, handsome “devil”, with a twinkle in his eye. He will be greatly missed.
