Obituary of Elizabeth W. Stansbury

Elizabeth W. “Betty” Stansbury, 92, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in Arlington, VA.  She was born on November 27, 1924, in Camden-on-Gauley, WV.   She was the daughter of the late Frank Elwyn Weaver and the late Ann Maroney Weaver. 

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Stansbury Giles of Herndon, VA, and her son, William T. “Bill” Stansbury, and wife, Charlene of Rockville, MD; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received at St. John University Parish, 1481 University Avenue, Morgantown,  on Monday, July 30, 2018, from 9 until the  Memorial Mass at 10 AM with Father Walt Jagela as celebrant,  inurnment to follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mon County Humane Society, P.O. Box 390, Morgantown, WV  26507.
