Obituary of Alma Irene Shultz

Alma Irene Shultz, age 92, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018, at Mapleshire Nursing Home.  Alma was born December 12, 1925, daughter of the late Clyde Gallagher and Irene Fisher Gallagher.

 

Alma retired from NIOSH.  Alma also worked at Olan Matheson, Heyden Chemical, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Edgewood Arsenal and Wright-Patterson Airforce Base.  Alma enjoyed playing music and attending church.  She played the mandolin, guitar, and accordion.  She is a member of the First Christian Church.

 

In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death in 1981 by her late husband, Forrest Shultz.

Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV, on Thursday, September 27^th from 4-6 PM and on Friday, September 28^th, from 10 until the time of service at 11 AM with Pastor Michael L. Carter officiating.  Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
