Obituary of Marcus Anthony Bradley
Marcus Anthony Bradley, 34 of Westover passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at his residence.
He was born July 20, 1984, in South Carolina, a son of Angela Bradley Hamilton and Teno Webb, and father Mike Hamilton of the home.
Marcus graduated from McDonough High School in Pomfret, MD where he was a standout soccer player. He also played soccer at Anderson College in South Carolina and graduated with a bachelor's degree from West Virginia University. Marcus was a diehard Ravens and Mountaineer fan and also loved the Manchester City Soccer Team. He was employed at WVU in Facilities Management.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brittany Renae Bradley; daughter, Amayah Renae Bradley; four siblings, Jessica Hamilton, Jarett Hamilton, Karen Hamilton, and Ashley Wakefield; maternal grandmother, Mary Bradley Gilbert and her husband Jerry; step-grandmother, Polly Hamilton; mother and father-in-law, Mike and Donna Matheny; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Eddie Bradley, Jr., step-grandfather JC Hamilton, as well as paternal grandparents, Blanche Webb and James Edward Webb.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Wednesday, October 3rd from 9 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
A memorial service will also be held at 4 PM on Thursday, October 4th at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Waldorf, MD.
