I have never forgotten about Granny, though it has been 13 years since my childhood Church closed and we were pulled a part. Many of my childhood memories are of singing with Granny at Church. I will never forget the impact to love Jesus that she made in my life. I know she would be happy to know that September 3rd 2017 I gave my heart to the Lord. Granny I love you and you will always have a special place in my heart!! See you on the other side!!

Norma Elizabeth “Granny”Blosser was an unforgettable person and personality and friend that my late parents and I knew for over 60 years. Many who grew up in Morgantown will remember the singing entertainer who dressed and performed like Cousin Minnie Pesrl who in real life was Sarah Ophua Cannon who Zi also had joy meeting st the Opryland Hotel in Nsshbille, Tennessee once. Granny Nlosser provided joy to many in Morgantown at many venues when she performed such as parades, churches, hospitals, care facilities and nursing homes as well as at Sagebrush Roundup near Fairmont,WV. Betty or Grannygrew up in rural WV having a hard childhood. She was a deeply religious person a woman of faith along with her sister Lorna and her late mother and also step mother. She was also a relative of the late WV House of Delegat Clydd Hagedorn. Personally my family and I had an even closer connection through attendance st Mellon Chapel where Betty or ZGranny along with Lorna and their late mom and step mom regularly sang at annual Mellon Chapel Homecoming programs held annually in Ocyober and where my great grandfathef laid the cornerstone during the Mellon Chapel construction.Betty of Granny leVes a lasting legacy of memories filled with hope, faith, joy,, laughter and love and she will
Be greatly missed by all who had pleasure to know her.

To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to put an end to all the things that have plagued mankind for centuries including pain and death (Revelation 21:3,4). May these promises from God give you comfort now and real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

I remember Norma, whom I knew as Granny, from Deckers Creek Valley Days and several events/performances around Morgantown in the 70s where I performed with my brother or alone. I was kind of shy back then and she often gave me a boost of confidence. What a caring person! She was so full of life and she could always get a laugh out of me. God bless you, family and loved ones, as you mourn and celebrate her life. I know you have so many stories to tell. I still remember the chorus of a song she wrote for Deckers Creek Valley Days! God bless you all.

I LOVED this woman. What a great light and a great spirit. I wish that I could have known her for longer than I did. I think that I remember seeing photos of her singing on Reverend Frank Hilling's radio broadcast. Granny Blosser brought a lot of music love and joy into the world. She really made her life count. Love and hugs to all of her family.

To the family of Granny Blosser I loved the way Granny sang. I loved the way she always had a kind word for people I can remember going to a restaurant with mu paternal grandmother the late Genieve Tichenor and she said look behind that is Granny Blosser I loved her. Now she is singing with the angels. When I was in Special Olympics from 1977 to 1997 I actually had my picture taken with Granny Blosser She will be missed by many. Rest easy now. God be with you at this time.

Aunt Betty was a wonderful lady, a great friend and a true Christian. She was saved, I asked her if she knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her own personal Savior and she replied, “Oh Heavens yes!” Her life, as will be anyone’s life, is short in comparison to eternity. It is my prayer as I believe it would be the same for Aunt Betty, is for all relatives to come to know the Lord Jesus as their own personal Savior. Romans 10:9-10. I loved Aunt Betty and I will see her again one day in Heaven.
