I had the pleasure of photographing amy’s Family for the past 7+years. She undeniably was one of my favorite people to work with, along with her children. They made EVERY session we did ( 2-3 times a year!) so much fun. I absolutely adore this family, and I’ve loved watching and documenting her children’s lives. She was the best mom. She was funny, and kind, and always brushing the girls’ hair, and trying to make faces at James to make him
Smile. She will be forever missed. What a beautiful soul- thank you, Amy, for touching so many lives along the way.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the 'God of all comfort' be with you at this difficult time. I have personally found comfort from the promise at 1 Corinthians 15:26 where it states that very soon 'death will be brought to nothing'. Then, we have the prospect of being reunited with our loved ones right here on Earth (John 5:28,29). I truly hope this brings you comfort and peace. With deepest sympathies, Gra and family.

Memories of my childhood include Amy (and her family) summers spent in Morgantown, going to the pool, playing in the backyard at Aunt Rose and Uncle George's house. Playing "King of the hill" at our Grandparents house in Weirton. Memories of Amy as an adult ...everything could be made better with that million dollar smile she had. And if you see something in this world that is not right, fix it. Look for the good in the world. Live each day to it's fullest. But I think the most lasting memory for me will be this....LLA Live Like Amy! Enjoy it, Embrace it, and Love it and Everyone!!

Amy and I worked together in the Virtual HS for 17 years. She was beloved by her students and fellow teachers for her kindness, generous spirit and amazing smile. We are all heartbroken to hear of her passing. She was such a bright light. I loved talking to her about Disney (and even visiting together briefly after her diagnosis) and our other shared love for Bethany and Rehoboth beaches. She loved life and loved teaching. She was a gift to her students and will be missed beyond words.
Soar with the angels my sweet friend.

I met Amy when we opened Forest Park High School together many years ago. She was and always continued to be a breath of fresh air and sunshine. Wherever she went, she brought joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. My deepest sympathy to her family, who she loved so deeply, and the many people in her life who will miss a truly unique and special lady.

Your Peterkin family grieves with you at this time of the death of Amy. She was a delightful person, a devoted mother and a witness to the love of Jesus. All the Senior Camp staff loved watching her greet Anna when they were reunited at the end of the camp this past summer.
May Light perpetual shine upon her and may she rest in peace.

I have so many fantastic memories of Amy growing up! Sleepovers at Amy’s house were always the best. We would stay up late and watch David Letterman and SNL. The best memories were the many nights we just stayed up laughing about anything and everything! I was blessed to have her in my life! Thoughts and prayers go out to you all!

Thank you for sharing Amy with me. Some of my fondest high school memories are with her. My heart is broken in ways I can’t express and I’m sure your grief is beyond measure. Amy Lou had a positive impact everywhere she went and on every soul she touched. The world is a dimmer place without her smile, but I’m proud to have been a part of it. The Marshall family will always hold a special place in my heart for many reasons. Bless all of you as you navigate this journey. I love you.
