Sorry I missed his service I work out if town a lot, and heard the news when Igot back. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. I knew Shane since I was an early teenager and he was one of the most brilliant, coolest and fun people I've had the pleasure to know. Rest in peace brother, you're missed but not forgotten. I will always remember Shane walking by my store on High St a skateboard in hand headed to the ‘Lair. My son Jacob was taught to skate by one of the best skaters in town and was privileged to be part of Clusterfunk. Shane, you will be missed, thank you.

You were the reason I wanted to be a skater. The shit I seen you attempt on a skateboard, and not just attempt it but land it always made me envious. I wanted your skills so bad.
I'll never forget you chuggin that 40oz in your yard, looking at Snookie who had come to fight you, and telling him he was just jealous. He threw you over the hill into the bushes, but in no time here you came, another 40oz in hand seemingly out of nowhere, once again telling him he was just jealous of you. Snookie couldn't help but crack a smile, and you earned his respect that day..as well as mine.
Other than online and through social media, once you left Beckley, we mainly lost touch and it was never like it was growing up in Prosperity. I'm gonna miss you man. Love you, and yes, even in the afterlife I've gotta say it. Get a real job, ya damn degenerate!

I cannot believe you're gone, Shane. We shared my first apartment building together. Countless nights of hanging out and spinning records. You gave me my first record, The Vapors. You patiently, with a few choice words lol, taught me how to match beats. Your turntables were the first I'd ever touched but wouldn't be the last!! You taught me everything I know about DJ'ing. You also taught me how to skate. Even how to just stand on the board I was that bad, LOL! Man, this is hitting so many people so hard. I hope your family knows just how many lives you touched. How many lives you made amazing just by being you. So many loved you so much. And as I write this with tears streaming down my face, I'm trying to remind myself this isn't gooodbye forever. I'll see you again someday. It just hurts so bad. I love u, man. So many of us love you so much. We will miss you more than words can express.
