While I only knew Ken for a short time, he was one of the kindest men I have ever met. He always had a kind, positive word for every situation and believed in the hope and possibility of the future.
Ken was a genuinely curious and concerned person who never seemed set in his ways but sought innovation in mind and matter.
The last conversation I had with Ken was about an Ices Ferry project near the Cheat Lake bridge. Undaunted and forward thinking even unto the simplest issues, Ken struck me as someone who saw the value in the smallest of details.
March on, good brother. Watch over our toil. Guard our ideals.
