Obituary of Larry "Mitch" Maxon

Larry “Mitch” Maxon, 68, of Morgantown and a US Army veteran, went to see his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 25th at his home.  He was born November 1, 1950 in Morgantown, a son of the late Paul and Pauline (Ayersman) Maxon. 

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by siblings, Paul Maxon and his wife Allinda, Linda Blosser and her husband, Darrell, and John Maxon and his wife Peggy; aunts, Juanita, Sally, and Linda; nieces and nephews, Treka, Kevin, Tracy, Brandon, Michael, Dakota, and Gabriella; and pet birds, Spanky, Katie, and Petie.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Karen Maxon and his favorite dog, Smokey.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date with full military funeral rites.
