Obituary of Sandra Ann Beck

Sandra Ann Beck 76, of Morgantown passed away June 29, 2019 at Sundale Nursing Home.

She was born February 27, 1943 in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Phillip and Muriel Ann Gibson Beck.

She graduated from University High School in 1963 and studied Child Care, Home Health, Fitness and Nutrition through International Correspondence Classes.

She was employed with the West Virginia University Hospital for 27 years in the Nutrition Department. She also worked as a volunteer at the hospital and in the community.

She is survived by her nephew Robert Nicholson and wife Roda of Morgantown; her nieces Diana Cress and husband Mike of Masontown, WV., Paula Ayersman and husband Eric of Morgantown; and several great nieces and nephews also.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, sisters, Mary Nicholson, Phyllis Kelley, Alice Muriel Beck; a foster sister, Rosalie Dibel; Nephew, James Kelley; Niece, Shari Austin.

The family wishes to thank Sundale Nursing Home for all the love and care, especially Danielle.

Friends and family may call at Hastings Funeral Home, Tuesday July 2, 2019 from

2 – 7 pm and Wednesday 10 am until time of service at 11 am with Ed Fortney officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
