Monday, July 8, 2019I am deeply sorry for your loss. I'm reaching out with some encouragement as I too have lost many loved ones in death. One thing that has helped me to cope many times is a promise made by in the Bible at Acts 24:15. Here it says that we can have a “hope toward God” for He promises that “there is going to be a resurrection.” What a comfort to have “a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago.” (Titus 1:2) Another comforting Scripture, one of my personal favorites, is Revelation 21:4. It speaks of world conditions under God’s Kingdom rule. It says: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” A most reassuring promise indeed! I hope these verses comfort you as they have comforted me. My heart and prayers go out to you.
