Obituary of Carolyn Sue Kirchmar

Carolyn Sue Kirchmar, 72, of Morgantown, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born August 31, 1946, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Olan and Gertrude (Bigler) Dick.

She was a member of Westover United Methodist Church and worked for 22 years at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the WV Horseman Association and the Masontown VFW and VVA of Preston County Auxillary Groups.

She is survived by her spouse, Jim Kirchmar; son, Charles David Chipps; stepchildren, Larry Burns and his wife Linda and Sheri DeBari and her husband Jamie; and sister, Marty Smith and her husband Steve. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Friday, August 2nd from 5-8 PM and again on Saturday, August 3rd from 1 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM with Pastor Jim Weber officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
