Obituary of Tom Flesher
Thomas “Tom” Michael Flesher, 64, of Morgantown, passed away on September 18, 2019, at his residence. Tom was born in Morgantown, on January 6, 1955, the son of the late Floyd & Winifred Josephine Flesher.
He was a proud employee of the Sterile Processing Department of WVU and loved the outdoors including camping, especially on Cheat Mountain. Although he could be a stubborn man, he was extremely kind and was known to have helped more people than can be imagined.
Tom is survived by his daughters, Jennifer L. Flesher, and Cristine N. Flesher; godson, Jay Eldred and wife, Heidi; grandchildren, Brooke, LeeAnne and Mark McDonald, Lillian, and Andrew II and Brandon Burns; and siblings, John P. Flesher, and Erlinda Johns.
Tom was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Paul Flesher.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home, Omega Crematory. There will be a private family celebration held at a later date.
